adjusting a neck with 2 truss rods.

hello, on my 6 string hohner bass, it has 2 truss rods.

i understand that i need to be very careful when adjusting the truss rods, incase i snap the neck, and ideally, i would take it to a professional, but sadly i dont have the money.

anyway, does anybody have any advice on doing so??

It is mostly the same as adjusting a bass with only one rod but with a couple of wrinkles. That process is well documented here.

In your case turn each rod an 1/8th and repeat rather than the traditionally prescribed 1/4 turn. If you need more than a 1/4 total, stick with the 1/8th on each method until you get what you want.

Once you get the relief where you want it on the low string side, check it on the other side. If it is not to your liking, tweak that rod in very slight increments until it is as you desire it.

I have only owned one bass like that, a Yamaha. Typically, it would take just an tad extra turn on the G string side to get it just so.
