Adjusting action/truss rod fret buzz...

I've adjusted truss rods before. A slight tweak here or there. No problems. I recently went from a band that played in a standard D tuning (5 string bass tuned A,D,G,C,F) to a band that is in a standard tuning (B,E,A,D,G)....
I tightened the truss rod a tad to improve the action a little. And the strange thing is all frets and notes sound fine except for the F# (2nd fret, E string). It buzzes in an annoying way.
Can any experts tell me what I may have done wrong, or why only the F# but other notes do not buzz ?

imho, if it buzzes at the lower frets, it means there's too little relief

Read the setup sticky up top. Relief is set with the rod, not action. Relief allows the string room to vibrate when fretted. Action is set at the saddles. Relief does affect action but its not used to set it. Rather, relief dictates how low your action can be for a given state of fret condition: ie., are they leveled properly.

If you loosen your rod a bit, the buzz will likely go away. But run a proper setup procedure to optimize playability of the entire neck.
