Guitar center did a terrible job packing this bass so by the time it arrived, the tip of the headstock was sticking through the top of the box and sustained damage. Any recommendations on repairing it?

Best and probably smartest but I am interested in repairing it.The best way to repair it is to send it back to Guitar Center and let them figure it out while you happily accept your full refund.![]()
I’d still pitch a fit for a partial yet sizable refund.Best and probably smartest but I am interested in repairing it.
Oh did that was first thing. Made it worth my while to try rescuing it!I’d still pitch a fit for a partial yet sizable refund.
Then what Jeff Scott said is the proper way.I should have clarified it’s definitely a crack through and not a scratch and it can be spread yes.
Not OCD. Just the absolute minimum of customer service.Ignore the OCD perfection squad and play bass…
Actually now that I have the tuner off it’s looking worse than I initially thought. The crack seems to extend into the hole. Might be taking it back again.Pics. Let's see the rest of the bass!
Why the @$^$@' would you repair that? Return it.
