Advice on aftermarket tuners for Danelectro

I have a Korea-era Danelectro longhorn. Cool little thing. But one of the tuners has now crapped out, so I need new ones.

Which tuners would be best for this bass, do you think? I really like lollipop tuners, but maybe they don't fit on the Dano. Any advice -- and specifics, if possible-- would be greatly appreciated.

Dano DC bass-1.jpg Dano Longhorn (2).JPG The head stocks on my DC59 Pro (with Gotoh-style bass tuners) and my Longhorn are exactly the same size (I know, 'cause I measured them). The tuner posts on the Pro's tuners are 11mm Diameter, so the holes in the Longhorn's head stock would need to be reamed out a little. But, otherwise, it would be a straight swap. Gotoh - and Schaller - make some tuners that would work. and, IIRC, some of the Gotoh's have the lollipop keys, too. I've been thinking about doing a swap like that, myself...

Sperzel makes bass tuners that mount in a 7/16 hole (11.1 mm) I don't think they have lollipop keys, but they have some that are very nice. They may even make lollipops for you; won't hurt to ask.
