Well i emailed those companys a year ago and got a price of 1600-1700$ , so the 1500$ suprised me. I browsed for rics for awhile and gave up on getting one as it was to spendy , then the MF sell netted me 2 for under 1100$ each. When i was looking previously the lowest quote i got was wildwood for 1600$.

Anyways yeah its hard to bitch about ric pricing when there made with more time consuming things then a fender deluxe which is 1700$.

It's been a wonderful yet cruel day. My Ric arrived about 2:00 PM, but I've been on a conference call all day! No cutting out early to play it.....and I'm still on the call after hours. At least I can look at it.

I paid $1700 at Easy Music Centre in Portland. It was full price, but I got to play it. The E string was too high, so my luthier sanded the nut down (only adjustment). Perrrfect. Stock strings-love them. Best Bass. Buy it. I would have paid more.

Have fun at your gig. I am debuting my Ruby 4004 Laredo at our gig Saturday (tomorrow) night. I may also have my 4001V63 with me, and definitely my Martin Keith Elfin 5.
