Looking to get a new cab and I've got a few options.
1) Gallien-Krueger 410BLX (sealed cab) [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
2) Fender 4x10 (I think it has a horn) [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
3) GK Goldline 2x10 (and add a 1x15 later) [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
4) GK 4x10 (might be in the roughest shape of them all) [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Calls into the debate of sealed vs ported and I've never had to decided before. And then if I go with option 2 I could also purchase that Behringer head (looks like a tube?) or use a SWR 350x I've been eye-ing for any of the options. Kind of stuck with all these options so any experienced advice is much appreciated fellow bassists.

Being that I own a GLX 4x10 and use it as my main cabinet I would recommend it. However be warned! IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY!!!! If you live in a second floor apartment or have a bit of a walk from your place to your car you might want to consider another option. Mine sounds great and has very solid build quality but that is my biggest issue with it.

As far as Sealed Vs Ported goes I highly recommend ported. You will notice a lot nicer low end from a ported compared to a sealed. I am currently running 2 4x10's for larger gigs 1 as I said is a GK GLX (ported/vented) the other is an Acoustic B410 (sealed). My B410 used to be my main because it is about 25 lbs lighter than the GLX but I have since come to the realization that the GK just sounds SO much better because of it's fuller low end response.

I marked option 4 but will say that 3 would be a close second if you didn't want to deal with the weight.

P.S. I hate tweeters so this sways my decision a bit.

And lemme screw you up a bit more....I have a first gen SWR Goliath 410 I'm thinking of selling (back when Eden built them for SWR) for $300.......And I'm local to you.......
That being said, I picked #4.

Thanks for votes and comments guys but I actually ended up calling an audible last minute and picking up a first gen SWR Triad for $200. I thought it was a pretty good snag and it covers all my requirements (relatively small size, bass with the 15" and highs with the 10" and tweeter)

Awesome!
Those are great cabs.

I know this is not on your list, but I have a 210 RBH which I think goes for like 600 bucks or something new.

I got mine used. It is everything I could possibly want in a cab. Loud, clear, tight, deep, rich, organic. Crazy, really. Not super light in weight, but not terribly heavy either. Very impressive.

EDIT - Sorry - just re-read the thread and saw you bought something already. Well....you could always buy another cab to add to what you just bought, no? :))
