AE410 grill vibration

At my gig tonight, I noticed I was getting a buzzing sound from my rig on certain notes. It turns out that the metal grill is vibrating and making the buzzing.

Anyone else have this happen? I'm going to try fixing this tomorrow before my next gig, but I'd appreciate any pointers or advice if anyone has dealt with this issue.

My new to me Schroeder 1212BMF cab is also plagued with a rattling grill. I tightened all the screws today on the grill but is rattles like crazy and creates all kinds of noise. Not sure how to fix it. I hope someone has a fix!

Rubber washers under the grill where it's screwed down.

You may also want to find the largest unsupported area near a speaker and put something under it (small block of wood, a large rubber foot off a cab...whatever is the equivalent of the depth from the baffle to the back of the grill) and screw it down tight there too.

That will fix it. Typically if a grill is only fastened around the edges it can still make that metallic rattling noise if left unsupported in the middle.

Needs some more standoffs, away from the edges more, like Sundogue is saying. One way is to use thickwall automotive hose on the back side, cut to compress a little, and run a long screw through it, something like this:

Another is to use tall rubber cab feet.
