Affordable case for smaller bodied bass?

I'm looking for a hard case that'll fit a Spector Euro 4LX and I'm too cheap to pay $180 for the actual Spector case. Do I have any other options?

The generic cases I see online all seem to be huge.

The case I have (which doesn't appear to be Spector, but fits the bass well) has interior measurements:

Lower section: 11.5x19"
Overall Length: 46.5"

The generic cases all seem to be 15+" wide. My bass will just knock around inside that.

Anyone found an affordable case to fit smaller bodied basses?

Would you consider a good gig bag instead of a case? It's better than a case on all accounts.
180 isn't much for a good case, it would barely buy you a good gigbag anyway.
