I count 8, including the truss rod cover.None more pointy
LOL.. Thanx! thats funny you say that. Cause I've been playing pretty much only P basses for ever.. but i grew up during the thrash metal and bmx era.. this thing does lend some class as well as the obvious choice of metal maniacs lame and brutal alike.. haha which isn't me.. I'm more a Graham Maby discipleCool looking bass and I normally don't like pointy ones at all. It looks total 80s leotards, neon singlet and long permed hair ... but at the same time it would look right at home hanging off Bo Diddley. That's two![]()
up from me.
.... so this thing showed up in one piece.. it came from a collection and never even got plugged it in the whole 25 years.. necks straight as a chiefs arrow. after takin off the old string i was surprised to discover this things a short scale 21 fret!! was a wee disappointed in that but its longer than my P basses at 54"! once strings were changed i found the pickup actually sounds great! full crisp and bright w p bass tone.. very few chips and i may even leave the tuners alone if they prove to hold ... so there it isLifes is funny.. for everyone thats been on the hunt for a rare bird heres some hope. so im sitting having coffee waiting to go in late to either A. quit my boring job or B. take a layoff, and so I'm surfin Reverb.. not even looking for thee bass I've been searching for OVER 10 years!! cause ive given up!!! and what pops up??!!! THE shagIN BASS!!!!! MINE NOW!! some days are just magik!!!! funny side note, I've been a P bass player my entire life.. not sure how its gonna work out but its the adventure , the hunt and the effort that keep us all goin right!!
