again something from me (the 3.series is coming alive)

it was a nice day today... since the last full Moon that was 5 days ago i finished 5 basses... another day another bass!!! ;)

the first was finished on the full Moon 8.3.2012 Moon in Lion

its a Elm bass as i call it... the Elm was cut and dryed by my grandfather back in 1953 most of it was used for one of a kind stairs... the left overs got to make it to my guitars ;)

BTW when i was stringing and tuning the things up all week... every time i was up at nigh and all was quiet... even if i didn't use an amp and strung and tuned them as is my neighbour do that is 200m across was hauling in almost the same pitch ;)

there is just one more to finish... it is giving me some trouble but i will tame it... ;)

i will be posting some sound clips soon when i find the time... imagine i finished them all in the busiest time this year not only did i finish the basses i also played a gig every day... ;)

i guess the full Moon gives you lots of extra energy and inspiration...

if any one has any questions about the woods and that sorts don't be afraid to ask ;)

and a few more loops made with the Elm fretless...

i apologize for my playing i did it very quick only for presentation purposes... as you can see the basses sound different but they all have the same circuits and strings... the Elm and Ash bass have the same schaller P pickup only different colour... the Oak and Ash have the same kind of neck but the pickup makes the difference... enjoy!!!
