Until recently, I have used two GS112's, but in the search for better mids, I just added a 2x10. I plan to use one GS112 with the 2x10, and tried it at a festival yesterday. It sounded good.
I recently ordered (but have not get received) a new PA system. I am wondering if my extra GS112 would make a decent sub. My thought is to stack the two GS112s and the 2x10, using the bottom GS112 as a sub for the PA. I've always been impressed by the low end of the GS112, and think it might work.
Do you think I can get a convincing kick drum thump from a 1x12?
