Hey, I've been playing a 2013 Fender American Stanrad Precision bass with alder body and a maple neck and fingerboard. as of 2012, all of the American Standard P basses are installed with Custom Shop '60s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickups. I've been feeling that the pickups lack warmth and depth for some reason.they felt a bit dull. I'm trying to get a Michael League (Snarky Puppy) type of sound.after switching to Flats and getting the Aguilar Tone Hammer (which I adore!) I've been thinking about getting the Aguilar AG 4P-60 pups. can anyone tell me if these pickups are a noticable improvment from the one I have now, or are they in the same playing field?

Aguilar AG 4P-60

The aguilar 4p-60 is actually my favorite pickup.
The aguilar is more lows than any fender precision pickup i had and they are defined not muddy at all.
the mids are growly and highs are sweet. they are there but not harsh.
It sounds like a precision pickup, but clearer with more lows.
I tame the increased clarity (only when needed) with a 0.1 capacitor.
