Aguilar DB359 + DB112 x2?

I have an Aguilar AG700 amphead I've happily been using with a pair of Aguilar DB112s (one with and one without a twitter ... is that the NT? I can't remember).
I just got my old DB359 amp back though -- how can I use it with those cabinets?

The DB359 has only 1x 1/4" speaker output for 4 ohms, and 1x 1/4" speaker output for 8 ohms. I guess I can use the single 8 ohm output with a 1/4" to Speakon or 1/4"-1/4" cable to 1xDB112 -- amp is 200 W, cab is 300W so should be OK, right? -- but how do I use the other cabinet too?
Can I daisychain the cabs from the pair of 1/4" jacks on the back? So go from the 4 ohm output into one (8ohm) cab and daisychain that to the other (8 ohm) cab?

If the cabs are 8ohms, run both off the 4 ohm tap. If they cabs have a 1/4" input, connect the first cab to the 4 ohm output of the amp. Daisy chain the second cab from first cab.


If the cabs only have speakON connectors, you need a 1/4" to speakON adapter. I use this one from Hosa

If the cabs have both 1/4" and speakON, you can daisy chain using 1/4" to 1/4" or speakON to speakON.

I’m about to get two db112’s for 600 bucks total this week which seems like a crazy deal. I’m planning to get an ag700 to go with it and haven’t done much research yet but it seems like a good combo… I’m just playing in my studio and don’t gig. I have a fender rumble 100 but am assuming this will sound way better. Just thought I’d ask how you like that setup and if there’s anything I’d need to know like setup wise or anything. Thanks!

That should sound INCREDIBLE! Simple daisy chaining as laid out by @Wasnex should steer you to a place where your bass notes frolic ever after!
