Aguilar DCB D2 questions

I just got a set of Aguilar DCB D2 pickups and I was expecting one neck pickup and one bridge pickup, but they're totally indistinguishable from a glance and they didn't come with any labeling or anything. Is there a difference or are both pickups the same?

Both pickups can be used either way. I'm using the same set in my Lakland 55-01. My set has the 2 hole mounting screws on each pickup. As long as you know how to wire them up, it doesn't matter where you place either one.

Thanks all. One more question on this wiring diagram that came with the pups:

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

The gray wires go to ground but it seems the black wires... also go to ground? Is there a reason they're drawn separately or can they all be wired together?

Some preamps (Audere prominently, but a few others too) separate the pickup ground from the input jack ground. On those preamps, the grey goes to cavity/jack ground and the black wire goes to the preamp input.

In 99% of installs, yeah the grey and black both just go to ground and can be wired together.

Guys I need your help. I've got a SR1205 Ibanez bass that comes with a couple of Nordstrand Big Singles 5.
I've heard about Aguilar DCB-D2... are there many differences between them? Which ones are better?
Thanks in advance!
