The reason I use that switch is that it was already installed into the casing and I had no stereo jack. Moreover, I'm not an engineer and I had no idea if it will work so I chose not to spend extra cash

No way to quiet those pops at all or using that weird switch I use only?

I remember there was sort of cap.soldered to the switch to quiet pops while switching the amp On...that was 15W Warwick's amp I owned years ago and had to repair, won't this approach work here?

in case of OBP3 with p-p mid selector pot,the schematic says" 1 MEGA RESISTOR TO REDUCE SWITCH CLICK".

A capacitor will only make the pop worse. You want a resistor.

ah okay, resistor...where's its place and what type should I use?

hi, I have the old OBP-1 (the big retangular shaped model) and Im wondering if it will also run on 9v. is the circuit and voltage needs the same as the newer cube shaped model?
