So I spent the morning going between these two manufacturers cabinets with a tone hammer 700 head. They both sound great. The darkglass seems to be a little bit tighter in the low end. But I can get great sounds out of both.
I play mainly jazz, alternative/indie rock, and folk/singer-songwriter, also double bass. The dark glass is a very versatile cab. But so are the Aguilar's.
I hadn't seen many comparisons. So I thought I would drop a note. Dark glass isn't just for heavy music it's just really musical I would put them on par with the Aguilar's.
The only thing that's annoying is that Aguilar head fan. That thing is horrible. Fine for live but annoying for home.
