Aguilar Sl410 vs Sl115?

I kind of think that a 212 cab is the sweet spot in terms of a single cab solution. Somewhere in-between a 410 and a 115.

I dig it. it's got a tight low end and lots of detail for a 15

Whats it like when you get loud? 400w is still plenty for a lot of things right.

I have a sl410 and I am completely blown away by it. It's the first case I've ever had that I felt that way about. It extremely loud (4ohm) but so crisp and clear. I'm afraid to thrash it on the road so I'm shopping a flight case currently.

How do you find it at lower volumes? I'm considering this as a one stop shop and might end up doing some quiet ish jazz sets with one. Seems like overkill but if it sounds delicious who cares at that weight point.

It's just fine at lower volumes. I've mostly played it at low volumes so far. I'd bet a 210 would sound just as nice in a low volume situation

For all those interested how this saga ended.. I stuck with the dark side.

Th700 and the SL115 - sounds super natural, warm and round where I like it. SL210 may be added one day if we ever get a shipment down here in Nz.
