Anyone tired or using Aguilar Tone Hammer for acoustic bass? It has 1Mohm input impedance, ( I never felt I need higher with my FC pickup) and it has fully sweepable midrange frequencies from 180 Hz to 1 kHz. That seems usable for URB.

It depends on personal taste and particular preamp, but I think input impedance between 1Mohm and 5Mohm way enough for FC, and could be better in several situation than the extremely high 10Mohm.I have the Tonehammer, I use it for my EB. I haven't used it on my UB because I use my Fishman Platinum for that. Somehow I feel that 10Mohm is better in combination with my Full Circle. But I am not sure if this is true. I haven't tried the Tonehammer on UB so I don't know. Maybe 1Mohm is just as good?
In what cases is the 1Mohm better then the 10 Mohm? I never understood much of the Mohm impendance stuff in combination with the preamp.
