The AKG P2 is a budget priced full range compact dynamic mic, suited to bass, brass, and drums.

The frequency response is advertised as very flat. Ime it reproduces the cabinet sound in the PA with zero fuss from soundman.

For under $100 it should be standard equipment for anyone looking to ramp up rig tone in FOH.

One slight drawback is the plastic inbuilt clip stand mount. It's best to leave the supplied 3/8 insert in place and get a $2 3/8 to 5/8 adaptor to save chewing up the plastic 5/8 threads.

Forgive me for derailing your thread before it even gets started, but do you any experience with the AKG P4?
I'm thinking about pickup a couple as low cost ($65 US)replacements for my 30+ year old SM57s.
