The Monster Rig is for my group The Travelin Black Hillbillys. Vanessa
Williams gig is more of a jazz pop gig. The stage is very low volume and prone to feed back because of the acoustic guitars and basses. I will be using my rig with Greg Howe on an upcoming project with Dennis Chambers. I co wrote and performed on the Introspective CD.
We both Endorse Madison Speakers. Check out Greg's site at www.greghowe.com Victor Wooten is on the current cd. I just want to play music and grow. I just orderd another 9 string bass from Benavente. It will look like Cris's TRUE FLAME black bass. Al Caldwell

recording session with him. It was amazing to see that level of commitment to sight reading and all around proffesional attitude. I was
at that time the luckiest guy in the world. The things i learned from him have shaped my opinion of what it is that i'd like to give the world. I can't believe that now I get to hang out with Chuck Rainey. How lucky can I be??? I'm blessed! Al Caldwell

p.s. BTW, can you get that effect over natural wood also? Something like walnut , ebony, or cocobola or something? THAT would be deadly!!!

That's an amazing story, Al. You've been blessed with so many wonderful opportunities in life! To only be able to meet those cats let alone play and study with them! Too cool...
