Those six albums I thought were absolutely perfect (within their respective genres) and I wouldn't change a single thing about any one of those albums.

A few more that I'll list separately because I think some or all are greatest hits type compilations (I think) - Frank Zappa: Strictly Commercial, Cheap Thrills and They Might Be Giants - Severe Tire Damage

All fantastic stuff.

Wow I totally forgot about this thread... LOL

Oh well, might as well add a few more to the list:

Black Sabbath - Vol. 4... it does start to taper off halfway through the second side, but the overall mood and vibe of this album is simply amazing. "Wheels of Confusion," "Supernaut," and "Changes" alone make it perfect.

AC/DC - Powerage... my favorite album of theirs, probably their most in-your-face, pure rock n' roll album, which is saying a lot for AC/DC.

Rush - Grace Under Pressure & Moving Pictures... Rush will always be my favorite band and these 2 albums never get old.

wow, so many votes for Kind of Blue. Great!

funny, after hearing it so many times, it still sounds refreshing and imaginative. Some of Cannonball's solos are still surprising after all these years, despite being burned into memory.

How about Can's Future Days.

and Eno's Another Green World.

and of course, the timeless bass beauty of What's Going On, many votes in now.
