alert notifications (not clearing once "READ")

Notification Alerts (by user name) arent "clearing" after reading the alerts page or pulldown menu. Or at least very slow in clearing (sometimes it works)

I am seeing this too. As Paul has mentioned elsewhere things are getting optimized and will take a little time to sort out.
