Alesis Quardaverb vs. Digitech TSR-12

I would like to get some opinions on which rack mounted multi effect unit you would go with if you were putting together a rack for your bass rig. I know there are tons of options available, but I want to keep the choices to the two options I actually have before me. I was given both an Alesis Quadraverb and a Digitech TSR-12. this is what I must choose from. I know what my ears hear, but wondered what experiences you may have had with either.

If it helps, I play a proggy melodic rock style. Think Entwistle blended with a little Wooten. I dont want to drown my sound with effects, but rather use it to compliment and add a hint of flavor. I am leaning toward a blend of reverb, delay, chorus and flange, but again, a blend that would not be overpowering so my runs aren't lost within. In other words, the seasoning not the meat.

So...what say you????
