All Ebony Neck?

Seen a few on the Warmoth site. I was wondering if anyone owns/played one and what you though about it.

Search function brings up too many threads about ebony fretboards to find anything useful.

It is going to be nearly twice as heavy as an all maple neck, all things equal

I have a suspicion that it would be exceedingly bright, but I'm can't guarantee that. It would, however, not need a finish, and would feel exquisite

Not sure I see the advantage over a laminated neck, unless it was laminates of ebony. As noted, it would be very heavy, probably neck-divey. Warmouth makes great necks though.
