I have a Squier Jag and the strings have been buzzing/rattling at the bridge recently. Also my A string does the same type of thing but at the nut.

Do you by any chance use thinner than normal strings? I had the same problem (Also a Squier Jag) when using .40's.
Try placing some thin paper in the nut to see if is helps.
As for buzz at the bridge, see if both of the height adjusting screws have tension. Sometimes one of the two can come loose a bit and rattle slightly. If you play very hard the saddles can actually hit each other and generate some buzz as well.
