I dunno, Halloween and The Thing aren't uber cheesy. Pretty much every other movie John Carpenter has done has been pretty cheesy though.

Edit: my contribution for cheesy movies is Surf Ninjas. Or Street Fighter.

Pick up some episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Not only do you get the cheesy movies, you get wisecrackers making fun of them too.

This is an excellent idea. I love those episodes.
