Alright, I Really Need Your Help - Another Band Name Thread

I'm pretty sure you already know this Jive, but for the rest of us...

It pays to do a little research into your potential new band name(s) to see if they are already taken. Google, facebook, myspace, etc., and the National Trademark Registry. Even if it's a small band that is not signed, or hasn't trademarked the name, there's something a little tacky in my mind about using a name another band has already been using. At the other extreme, if you do start using a name that a regionally or nationally know band has already claimed, it could lead to unwanted legal issues.

Thanks for all the replies. We now came up with a name, but it wasn't any of the suggestions. The guitarist came up with Secondhand Sweethearts, and the rest of us seem to dig it.
