Altering a headstock shape/type???

just curious,

has anyone ever converted a 4 in line headstock to a 2 + 2? got any pics what you did? is it even possible?

(that goes for 5 and 6'ers too)

it's possible, and I have done it, but I have no pics to share, was a few years ago.

Basically, rout the sides square, attach new wings, shape, and re-drill. It's a simple process

and here i was thinking that there is only one way to do it...

there are many ways to do it, but this is the most effective without having fills in the HS
