Hey everybody, I am back on Talkbass after several years. How has everybody been?
After visiting my music school last October , I was feeling inspired and bought myself a couple of new basses for the first time in over a decade, including an Ibanez 7 string.
I went and placed an new order from Kalium strings last November for a couple of custom sets to be used for my 6 string piccolo tuning and my new 7 string. Probably to no surprise to anybody here, that order is still pending. I have not received any feed back on my order inquiries, so I filed a claim with my credit company.
So what are some alternate companies that have the same variety of strings in bass lengths, and allow you to build your own sets? From my previous post 6 years ago, I am still using the .070, .053, .037, .026, .017 P, .011 P set on my Carvin 6 string. But those are getting pretty old, and I was looking to try some .010 for that high C.

Just received my order of Kalium strings, and just strung up my Carvin 6 string bass with them. Low B (.070) to high C (.011).
Just experimenting
