Way to switch it up!

I would have to think about it, but can you add Mute to the neck/both switch if you used a on/whatever/on? Save a switch position.

Tried to ponder that for a while and I’m pretty sure that it would have to be an 3 pole to do that. I’m a little under the weather and that kind of pondering is beyond me right now.

On the tone switch--if I understand correctly, the .022 will have a different cut frequency. If that's not your goal, could use a .047 plus a resistor to simulate a partially turned tone knob. Bonus points if you use a trim pot to allow tweaking it.

Thought about the trim pot thing but it’s already tight spacing inside the cavity with 2 orange drops.
Plus there is a really neat resonance peak when no tone pot resistance is present with the caps. It sounds awful through a set of headphones but amazing through 10” speakers in a cab.

While I’m waiting on parts just wanted to share how I do the cap selector switch so it fits in the cavity well.
I use a DPDT on/off/on, even though a SPDT would do the job because it makes it easier to solder and modular.

Committed to going with the elaborate switching. Parts in, will work on over the weekend. Need to file sides of washers flat to get all switches side by side.

Should look pretty neat when all done.
