Always on HPF

I’ve got the pedal version of the Broughton HPF permanently on in the effects loop of an SWR-400. Had the always-on version been available when I bought mine, I would have ordered that instead.

I keep thinking I’ll get the Broughton HPF/LPF to go with the Broughton Parametric EQ I already own. Combined they make for a pretty potent EQ bank that works equally well for live play or recording. The parametric has already earned its keep that way.

Or I could just hunt down his rare Problem Solver or possibly get his Messenger Preamp and just have it all in one box and be done with it.

So little money and time. So many great bits of outboard gear.

ART EQ351 can be had for about $125 or so. HPF and LPF plus 31 band eq

I've been reading up on HPF and LPF. Read the mega thread on topic. Mega thread OP needs a pay raise!
Anyways, I can find the Broughton website broughtonaudio.com , but cannot seem to find Fdeck's. If someone has it, would you please post it?
Prefer to purchase battery powered external powered option HPF "Always On" pedal form version(s). Less cables to worry about, and I already buy 9V batts in bulk.
Which manufacturer of an HPF is best for electric bass and not for upright/acoustic/DB? Or does it not matter?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I own two of Fdeck's HPF-Pre Series 3 boxes and one of them is always in my gig bag - excellent quality and dead silent! It's one of the best tools of the trade especially for dealing with acoustically challenging rooms. It's equally great for general tone shaping beyond what a typical EQ knob can do.

Just ordered a used ART EQ351 for $65. Mostly buying it for the HPF. The rest of the features is just icing on the cake.
I wonder how it compares with Fdeck's HPF 3?
I always had great luck with ART gear, but I can't imagine anything working better or being cleaner sounding than the Fdeck HPF-Pre Series 3.
