We're opposites on this issue. I have a 24 fret Carvin LB70 that lives in its case because I have a mental block seeing all of that extra real estate in the upper register. FYI Fender made a 24 fret Jazz bass with active electronics a while back. Have a great day.Actually he didn't need any! lolJaco only needed 20
Your collection sounds pretty cool, actually. This thread is in serious need of a collection pic.
Yeah, really not at all a guitarist. I've been a bassist for almost 30 years, but thanks.Nope I can make due with 20 but prefer 21. Sorry But you sound like youre a guitar player!
Got me. One of my oldest friends, a guy I gave some lessons to when he was a teenager who went on to become a very skilled bassist, recently blew out his preamp, so I'm gifting him my 4 string BTB bass in a few weeks when we go camping. I don't play it much anymore, and the thought of him going without a functional bass when I have seven bothered the hell out of me. So, the blue flame maple BTB will be finding a new home and someone who will give it more love than I have to offer at the moment. I just want it to be played and loved. I mostly play my Thor Bass six string fretless and my fanned fret SRMS805 of late. My six string fretted SR1306PM and my Portamento SRF705 are both getting neck adjustments to restore them to fighting trim sometime this week or next, as well. You’re on TB. How is seven basses excessive?
Start something by criticizing tort but dude, seven?
A guitarist friend would say if you paused when asked how many, “more than ten or less than twenty?”![]()
The second octave is only thing I could be sure of finding on a fretless....Couldn't find the second octave on a fretless to save my life
