So I'm broke ass broke and still have a ton of bass toys. Can't get anything more, can't get anything fixed.
Playing my Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ through a Schroeder BMF 212 with the top 12 driver blown.
Is it nuts that the tube overdrive through a half blown cab sounds so bleedin Metal?
Not even playing "music", just really low overblown whole note pentatonics.

Could having the blown driver change the impedance of the cab and end up stressing the amp's output transformer?

Not according to the 400+ owners manual. This amp compensates for impedance.
