sit down with it, and get the two chords going counting off in
quarter notes (to a metronome if you have it). Move from the
starting C to F to C to F and keep going back & forth till you
feel comfortable with the same pattern on different strings. It
should start to sound like a good walking bass line (albeit very
simple). When you think you have it, let me know & I will move
you a long a little further...
BTW, since i am still learning, I cannot take you too far, and
by no means am I a "theory" guy, but I have usually been good
at teaching people the basics of anything I have learned...
