While he certainly has the skills, I can't imagine JT working for the Reds, and either way his name wouldn't fit. Consider the following:

• Whorfin, Yaya, Gomez, Smallberries, Bigbooté, ... Turner? Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.
• Gant, Emdall, Parker, Turner... now we're talking.

And yes, John Turner knows all about the watermelon.
