Was this taken in Colorado this Jan?
I think this is one of my photographer good friends' photo! They fly her out every year for the graduation ceremony. We grew up in PA, but she now lives in CT. She arranged to visit me right after this year's assignment in January. Every other year, the US prez gives the commencement address ... this was an off year, but I'll see if i can dig up last year's with elHeffe, the caps in the air, & the jets taking off ... she won an award for itDon't know. I like how the jets flew over right at that exact moment.

Yep, she confirmed the hat toss photo you posted is hers from Jan 2015 at the USAF Academy graduation that she's done for the past several years. Here's the ones from 2016 with elHeffe >

And it appears she will be visiting again at the tail end of her trip there in May to do cadet graduation photos. So cool that you rando posted that pic, @Richland123She's amazing and super cool. One of the few friends i have that can pass that kind of security clearance![]()

Hero was a schooner that was converted into a steam tugboat. Its maiden voyage in 1892 from England to Sydney took 156 days.
"Sgt. Stedenko? Zat you?"
