A polka-dot zebra foal stands close to its mother at the Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya on September 19, 2019. Antony Tira, the Maasai guide who first spotted the foal, named him Tira. Tira has a condition called pseudomelanism, a rare genetic mutation in which animals display some sort of abnormality in their stripe pattern.
