We went to Chitzen Itza on our honeymoon. It is an amazing place. Back in 2002, people were still allowed to go inside the big pyramid, so I did. So cool. Fun fact: there are 365 steps going up to the entrance, one for each day of the year.

Volunteers preparing food at the Golden Temple. The temple (like other Sikh Gurudwars) provides free vegetarian meals to all, and serves 50,000 people each day (double that on holy days). It's quite incredible, and perhaps the most efficient thing I've seen in India.
