This fish was literally caught in the act of swallowing a frog. After this pic was taken, the frog leaped past the angler/photographer's head and made his escape. That's one lucky frog!

Jonah was a real pansy compared to me!
My wife had something similar happen. She caught a bass and a bluegill at the same time. I think she interrupted dinner time for the bass. That was a lucky bluegill!

I highly recommend taking a drive down the Talimena Highway in the fall. When I had a 2009 Mustang GT, I drove it with a bunch of other Mustangs one year. It is truly beautiful and a lot of fun to drive, with all of the twists and turns!
There needs to be a don't like button - not for your post but for what it is. Watched part of a documentary the other night on the Camp Fire in 2018. wow.
I've been on the Talimena over a dozen times from Spring through Fall. One of my favorite roads. It's about a half day ride/drive from here to Talihina, OK. Haven't taken the Corvette over there yet.
Talimena pics start with the 5th one. This was a trip to AR and MO where I was rained on most of the first three days. Having some fun now!

Jacob’s Well
If you’re visiting Texas, you should probably take a trip down to Jacob’s Well… and from there you can take another trip down… way down – 4,500 feet down actually! While it seems like a beautiful spot to explore, 8 people have lost their lives pushing themselves past the point of no return.
