I've spent time in Cong, Ashford Castle and the coast. Connemara is a lovely area.
Is that the border patrol coming up to meet you?
I’d spent my entire life visiting with me Da’s family near Dundalk, down to Dublin, on to Cork, but it wasn’t until 2004 (our graduation gift to our daughter) that I/we spent time on the West Coast!
It was like a whole different World!
It was like a moonscape!
Been back to the home place 3 times since then.
Ta hell with Dublin…I wanna go spend time in Donegal!
I’ve been four times, each in the winter for woodcock shooting at Ashford Castle and ducks on the coast. It’s a gorgeous landscape.
