My father-in-law had a home about 1/2 mile from there for years (“Back ‘o Beyond” neighborhood).
Nowadays they won’t let you even drive down to LOOK at the parking lot (due to the crazy-busy nature of Sedona nowadays), instead, there are now shuttles from town.

My wife and I will do hikes in our general area, but nothing around here comes close to what we saw hiking in Sedona a few years ago. “Natural beauty” doesn’t seem to do it justice.
