Yep. It says "A housing development in Cathedral City, near Palm Springs." I found it pretty funny this was shot in California who is complaining about water. All those houses with personal pools and nice lawns.

How did you know this was Palm Springs? They just look like any other suburbs to me.
I have flown over this area at a fairly low altitude and have seen that before. The contrast between the miles of desert sand and the subdivision is quite noticeable.

Palm Springs (area) is on an aquifer and not experiencing water shortage. "califorinians" are not complaining about water, your news source is :eek:. it is a severe drought year none the less. i take some offense to your comment in that you're far far away from california's water politics. no biggie. there's just a bunch of sour info floating about on the topic. media spins califorinians as cray cray, and we're not. :cool::smug::bassist:
