I know nothing about tracking aircraft. Is there any information you can find about the two fighter jets that did a fly-over of the University of Oregon campus at 3PM today? I was nearly directly under them on the roof of my building and was probably the closest person on the ground to them all fly-by. I shot a video I'll get posted soon.
I wonder if it was a promo flyover for the Olympic track and field trials?
The armed forces do flyovers of big sporting events sometimes for promotions. In a nutshell it’s marketing for recruiting.
If you can find any flight data that would be great. They were so damn close to me it was startling. I'd love to see the lowest they got. I was due west of the stadium so it was likely the lowest point of the trajectory.
