As many times as I have been to Ontario, I have never visited Paris, ON. I will have to make a stop there if I get to make another trip.

As many times as I have been to Ontario, I have never visited Paris, ON. I will have to make a stop there if I get to make another trip.
It has huge elevation changes from any direction as you head into the original, older part. They say if you ever drive through it you'll never forget it. It's at the confluence of two rivers, the Nith and the Grand. There are also several cobblestone buildings. As well as home to Canada's oldest civic-gothic building (old town hall) built in 1854. Lots of nice old buildings and picturesque.
Head to the Brown Dog for some coffee on the deck over the river.

I just checked the U.S. to Canadian currency exchange rate. Too bad I can't make a trip now.
If I make it up that way again, I will have to look you guys up and come see you play.
I've been to Paris & London Ontario-when people asked me what I did on my vacation I told them I spent some time in Paris & London.
After they either looked like they doubted me or were surprised/envious, I would add something like"Ontario" or "and Hamilton & Brantford"
weird experience last week, had a hummingbird checking out my macro lens, by the time i refocused it and was ready to snap the little guy flew away, he was about ten inches away floating in front of me just chilling
Problem is it's cute and little but the cut through traffic now is horrible. Live just up the road, ready to move in a few years.Cute little old downtown area as well. I live about 25min away
Problem is once people find out about it, then its over.
