Limba yes, black...barely. Quarter sawn yes, perfectly...hardly. Curly, barely. Super curly, not even close. Rare, not at all. Now I have an acoustic bs set that is super curly black Limba. Not too common, but rare is a stretch.

This is pretty endemic of that auction site as a whole. Sellers seem to be slapping absolute garbage up about their wares and they're making a killing on the free market off of stupid people who will just continue to second, third and fourth-hand the items.

Well the free market is much better than the black market.....LMAO Stupidity much like ignorance are never an acceptable excuse. Buyer beware! If you are too cheap or too stupid to buy from an unknown seller, you better have the knowledge to assess what you buy, no hand holding and coddling on auction sites....LMAO

BTW, most of the reputable wood sellers on Ebay are well known by the people who buy there, and if there is a question, there is the feedback, and the community to do research before you buy. To say ebay is generally frequented by less than reputable people is an irresponsible comment at best. I have enjoyed the convenience of ebay for years for many things including some wood products(odd veneers especially) and have rarely run into or ever bought from disreputable sellers, but again, it's YOUR due diligence to check out a seller before you buy, and know what you are buying.

you click on the feedback number, and read what the Negative and neutral comments say, and you have the story....very easy to assess.
