Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

I was looking for a couple of 20' instrument cables and found these at $12.99, or 74% off list (not sure if that's a temporary or everyday price but I went for it!). There's also a yellow/brown tweed version, or you can get two straight connectors instead of one right angle. I've bought speaker cables made by GLS. Super-solid.

Amazon.com: GLS Audio 20 Foot Guitar Instrument Cable - Right Angle 1/4-Inch TS to Straight 1/4-Inch TS 20 FT Black Gray Tweed Cloth Jacket - 20 Feet Pro Cord 20' Phono 6.3mm - SINGLE: Musical Instruments

I bought that very cable, and although I haven’t gotten around to really using it, it seems really nice.

I got it right from Orange County Speakers where I’ve gotten dozens of XLR cables, at least a dozen of their microphones, and a few adapters and other things.

Highly recommended for budget-priced stuff that’s good enough for using out.

I couldn't tell from the description, how mant picofarads did it come with?

Probably somewhere around 760, not counting the capacitance of the ends and the solder, but those picofarads add up and pretty soon you're talking almost a nanofard. Just imagine if you used a .048 uf capacitor for tone circuit instead of a .047, scary!

Amazon.com: DRAGOONDM4210 450W 4-16 Ohm Switchable Handcrafted High Performance 2x10 Inches Bass Speaker Cabinet: Musical Instruments

Anybody know anything about Dragoon cabs? The styling on this one looks more like it should be in the bed of a pickup truck, but the specs seem good. It's odd that it appears to have 2 different size voice coils. Still, for $226, it might be worth a try. Amazon has several other Dragoon models and they're all priced in the $1000+ range.

Huh. It says it's designed and made in Italy, which makes me think it might be an actual reasonable cab. I wish I had money to burn ;-)
