Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

I find the Pro Steels to be a very bright, balanced, long lasting string. Some have described the tone as sterile but I disagree. They can clank but I don't find that they snarl in the mids like my favorite Rotosounds 66s do. They also feel rougher on the fingers than Rotosounds for the first few days. At less to my fingers.
Hope you enjoy them!
Brent
Thanks I sprung for 2 sets.

Just a heads up on those cables... though I just ordered them myself.

Last week I bought some braided 6' cables dirt cheap ($6) because I needed some for bedroom practice. They look cool and work, but they are $6 cables. I would never trust them on a stage I planned to move around on :) . I bought 2 of the 10' cables for backups with my wedding band as I'm always just trapped in a corner unable to move anyhow. Nobody is stepping on my cables, and they're not moving anywhere. The 20' cable I passed on as I wouldn't trust it (even for $2) if I were moving around a stage.

And it might be great too - I tend to think we get what we pay for though.
