Qu-Bit Nebulae and Surface are on the way from that deal they ran. After that, my 2023 limitations begin.

I’ve been reading Mangas and doing some Lego to keep my mind off the huge rut I’m in.
Agreed on all said.well, my kids are 27 and out of the house; the good thing about gear is that it can guilt you into using it; i have friends who are *very* productive, so i feel like a slacker; and i'm closer to the end than the beginning, so i'm feeling the desperation.
and . . . i do the work, but there's no guarantee that it's not trash. ####hubris
we have a race to the bottom!
lego is awesome. try something different?

I won't even bother asking this question to TB in general...
Has anyone here ever tried using a contact microphone on a solid body electric bass (and not like a piezo bridge...just a contact mic slapped somewhere on the bass)? Basically, using a contact mic on a bass that was never intended to utilize something like that. I don't have a contact mic to try it out but am curious about how it would sound (which would obviously vary depending on the bass and placement of the mic, I understand).
