Nope, I use about 3% of what Live can do.
I even want to make my life harder and just use my tascam dp06 more and just bounce tracks in that.

Sidejackasses are going to take up as much room as a 1590BB-portrait with top-jacks, so may as well have that:
1590BB PORTRAIT WITH TOP-JACKS : IN/OUT/EXP/POWER — all on top and not taking up any more space than the stupid sidejack "smaller" pedal.
With 1590BB portrait, could have a second stomper for the presets, too.

Nah, atm the bare minimum these days I need a tuner and a Boss Ls2 that switches between my dirt and clean signals.

So 4 pedals is the lowest I can go for now.

But I’ve done many gigs in a wide range of styles with just a tuner and a VT bass.

F Bass. They just announced this model in December/January. I ordered it almost immediately. I’d been wanting a bass vi for a while and was about to go with a Dunable order.

It just arrived today. 31” scale BEADGE tuning. Toggles for each pickup on/off. Bass choke by pulling the volume knob.

I’m still figuring it out but I’m pretty happy. I’m getting a little buzz around the 14th fret on the G/B/E strings which are all on the same bridge saddle so I probably need to give that a tweak (the G saddle looks low relative to the adjacent D). I’ll wait a day or two for everything to acclimate to LA temperature and humidity.

It’s a little unbalanced and body heavy without a full sized neck and bass headstock to balance out the walnut body. The string spacing is throwing me off but not terribly. It’s been ages since I played a standard six string guitar.

It sounds nice into my delay and reverb boxes. I’m still figuring out the wang bar range/sensitivity, but that seems pretty smooth. I’m going to start plugging it into some fuzz boxes soon.

It’s not magically perfect, but it’s quite close to what I expected and likely better than other options I was considering (but also couldn’t play before buying). The pickups are impressive and the single coil is not noisy at all. The fun part will be comparing it to the Squier bass vi my buddy just got so we can see how much I overspent

what’s the spacing?

sounds like no neck dive, which is probably a good thing for your left shoulder/arm and neck.

odd tuning? why not an F# instead of a G to do reg baritone guitar tuning (or a high C instead of the B for straight 4ths)? (fwiw, i opted for straight 4ths on mine.)
