Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

Nice work. Since you are listed as being in So Cal, I might have to pick your brain :)
Are you playing out anywhere with this project, or is it a studio project? I'm curious what venues in the area are hosting this type of music.

I recorded these tracks at home. They are just bass. I may have added keys to one making it the only 2 track mix.
I do play with a guitarist and a drummer but have not played out yet. If you like I can send track from that project.

Kinda same idea than i posted just before(i promise not to post any variation of this particular thing after this). The static noise heavily processed with granular stuff and then through shimmer reverb. The granular stuff has ability to filter the grains into a scale or a chord so it's random within limits. Then the shimmer adds fifth or octave or whatever you want. This is in the deep drony, textural stuff but hope some find it interesting. There could be some great pad samples in there :) This was a live recording of this processing, only post was to normalize this file, which i haven't done all the time.

the boomerang is perfect for what i do, which is live looping with no loading or saving. it can do three synchronized or asynchronous loops; it can do four if you get the sidecar.
Actually, Boomerang can do four loops without the sidecar just fine. But you'll be limited to one bonus button, that is, two functions instead of four. In my case those two functions would usually be Stack and Erase. Of course, the sidecar enhances the looper's usability greatly.
